LAPA DO LOBO FOUNDATION ART RESIDENCY
The Lapa do Lobo Foundation (FLL) Art Residency aims to inspire and allow artist to develop projects in a picturesque village in the Countryside of Portugal. The projects can be developed either individual or collectively, in all disciplines of art: film, dance, photography, illustration, literature, music, painting, theatre, among others.
Located in the village of Lapa do Lobo (Nelas, Viseu), between the Caramulo and Estrela mountains, FLL Art Residency provides inspiring work areas that are easily adaptable to all arts disciplines. The village allows artists contact with nature in a genuine community, far from city centres, without missing the necessary comfort.

WHO CAN APLLY?
Any artists, companies, or teams from all the disciplines of art: cinema, dance, photography, illustration, literature, music, painting, theatre, and others.
WHEN IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?
The FLL Art Residency will take place between October 15th and 29th, 2023, in two modalities:

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS?
There are no guidelines for the project to be developed during the residency and there is no obligation to present a final output.
It is mandatory, however, the participation in an event that will gather artists in a venue in Lapa do Lobo Foundation region.
WHERE IT WILL TAKE PLACE?
The FLL Art Residency is located in the village of Lapa do Lobo, district of Viseu, Portugal.
ACCOMMODATION
The artist will be staying at Slow. Slow is a coworking & coliving space that challenges one to slow down and find a balance between the time dedicated to work, to oneself and to others. The house, located in the center of Lapa do Lobo, gives people back the time to do what they thought they no longer had time to do. Reading, having long conversations, experiencing emotions, cycling, learning to bake bread with Mrs. Maria, hiking in the Serra da Estrela, visiting wineries, and tasting Dão wine. In this village built over granite, the time flows slower and everything can be a source of inspiration.

FINANCE CONDITIONS
The Lapa do Lobo Foundation provides accommodation, work spaces and a daily allowance of 15€ per residency. The remaining costs are borne by the artists.
